For nearly 30 years, Conservation International (CI) has been protecting nature for the benefit of al.

We know that human beings are totally dependent on nature — and that by saving nature, we’re saving ourselves. To that end, CI is helping to build a healthier, more prosperous and more productive planet.

We do this through science, policy, and partnerships with countries, communities and companies. We employ more than 1,000 people and work with more than 2,000 partners in 30 countries. Over the years, CI has helped support 1,200 protected areas and interventions across 77 countries, safeguarding more than 601 million hectares of land, marine and coastal areas.

The Blue Institute is a strategic consortium of dedicated partners including leading research universities, professional and trade organizations, industry, practitioners, land & marine farmers, and local communities working together to design and create a creative cross-disciplinary academic curriculum, research facility, blue tech incubator, and water testing labs that take advantage of the unique fresh and saltwater ecosystem at and surrounding Cape Cod.


Community Environmental Council

CEC innovates and incubates real life solutions in areas with the most impact on climate change. Our programs provide pathways to clean vehicles, solar energy, resilient food systems and reduction of single-use plastic.

Coral Reef CPR is the outcome of 25 years of research to understand the causes of the global coral reef crisis.  Our studies on novel coral diseases, outbreaks of coral predators, and storm damage led to the identification of concrete actions that can enhance the resilience and conservation of threatened coral reefs. Through better management of human activities we are working to ensure that coral reefs can continue to benefit  humankind while maintaining the health of our oceans.

Earth Charter International (ECI) is comprised of the ECI Secretariat and the ECI Council. The ECI Secretariat, which is based at the United Nations-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica, endeavours to promote the mission, vision, strategies, and policies adopted by the ECI Council. It supports the work of the Council, assists with strategic planning, and coordinates many Earth Charter activities.

Made Safe

Our nonprofit organization provides America’s first comprehensive human health-focused certification for nontoxic products across store aisles, from baby to personal care to household and beyond. Our goal is to change the way products are made in this country to ultimately eliminate the use of toxic chemicals altogether. We make it easy for people to find and buy products made without known toxic chemicals, give companies a road map for making safe products, and make it easy for retailers to select products that aren’t known to cause harm.

Matter of Trust

At Matter of Trust, we provide systems for sorting recyclables and compostables into useful stockpiles. By focusing on convenience, we learn what households need most from community reuse programs. Gathering perspectives from global industries, we find motivations and new zero-waste opportunities. We are passionate about efficiency and deconstructable designs.

Formed by Hunter Lovins, co-author of the acclaimed book Natural Capitalism: Creating the Next Industrial Revolution, Natural Capitalism Solutions is led by Lovins, who has over 40 years experience in business, sustainability, and change management.

For more than a decade, Save Our Seas Foundation has been dedicated to protecting life in our oceans, especially sharks and rays. We support passionate and innovative researchers, conservationists and educators across the globe, by funding their projects and helping them to tell important scientific and environmental stories.
